Exesomes are a cutting-edge approach in stem cell therapy to stimulate and rejuvenate. They can be used to boost the effect of microneedling to reinvigorate aging, sagging skin.
Exosomes are nano-sized vesicles, released naturally by cells that promote communication between your own cells. They act as messengers, carrying a cargo of proteins, lipids, and genetic material (RNA and DNA). This intercellular communication plays a vital role in various biological processes, including tissue repair, regeneration and immune response.
As we age, our own exosomes become less effective, leading to issues like wrinkles and skin laxity. This is where exosome treatments can be used, offering a powerful solution to tissue repair. It is now possible to use exosomes derived from plant, bovine, bacterial or synthetic sources. During a microneedling treatment they can be applied directly to the skin. When absorbed, they send signals to the skin cells to boost healing, reduce inflammation, and improve overall skin texture. This helps with issues such as sun damage, acne, pigmentation and fine lines, resulting in brighter, healthier, more youthful skin.
Procedure
The skin is cleansed and disinfected. Microneedling is used to create tiny micro-injuries across your skin. This allows the exosomes, when applied, to penetrate deep into the skin or hair follicle to have optimal effect. Post treatment the skin will be red which should settle in 1-2 days.
Post procedure instructions
