Sculptra® is an injectable collagen stimulator containing poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA-SCA). It works differently from traditional fillers by targeting the underlying causes of facial ageing by restoring facial skin structure.
Sculptra® stimulates natural collagen production, helping to rejuvenate the face by restoring the inner structure and increasing volume lost due to ageing. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers which give instant volume, Sculptra gradually replaces what time has taken away, resulting in a fresher, firmer skin. Treatment involves a series of injections made into the deep layer of the skin, where collagen support structures are located.
